Hi All,

I have an AppFuse 2.01 + Struts + Hibernate app that has the standard
AppFuse Struts menu system with a number of elements statically defined in
the menu-config.xml file and rendered via menu.jsp.

Once my user has logged in, I have to retrieve some contextual stuff from
the database and add some menu items and I'm trying to work out the best
way to do that.

I have implemented a Spring ApplicationListener whose onApplicationEvent
method fires when a user logs in. I plan to use this to build the list of
items
to go into my user's menu.

However, I've not had much success working out how to dynamically add to
an existing menu.

I assume the Struts Menu Builder leaves some sort of object lurking around
in the session that I can access and tweak, is that right? I've hunted through
the Struts Menu documentation but not found anything that looks like what I
need. Can someone give me a bit of a clue to help - maybe a classname, or
a Doc url?

TIA,
