I've just pulled the AppFuse 2 and it builds fine with out any custom
code added. I use Fedora 8, Java 6.0_04 (latest).
I am not sure if this suffices your requirement to test J6.

I run both Spring versions of AppFuse: basic and modular.

Page http://www.appfuse.org/display/APF/Development+Environment has a line:
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Download Java 5 SE. AppFuse should work fine with Java 6, but Maven
has issues with multi-module projects.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
so here is the reason for this message thread.

Thanks,
Nikolay

P.S. I needed I could test more complex code on linux, but it will be
some while while I have my own code using AppFuse 2.
