  Thanks for looking into this, the basic project also exhibited the same
issues, I'm not sure if that's important.  The other thing I might add is
that the suggestion to run appfuse:full-source before doing any development
was finally what worked for me.  I copied my sources to the side deleted my
project, created a new one, ran the full-source goal, and copied my sources
back into the project.

  Another side effect of this issue is that it seems as though the necessary
configuration files are not downloaded if the project has already been
started.  I'm not sure why, and I'm pretty new to maven so please keep that
in mind.  I may suggest warning the user and downloading copies of the
configuration files vs. not downloading them at all.  It may not be that
easy to do something like that in maven.  If possible the benefit would be
that the user would have the opportunity to merge the configuration for the
"full-source" in with the configuration of his/her on going project.  The
other alternative is to halt the process and dump an error message that
states pulling the "full-source" is only an option at project initiation.
