I'm a bit hesitant to add this to 2.0.2 since I hope to release it in the next couple days and don't have extra bandwidth to test your fixes. It's probably best that you create a patch and attach it to the issue in JIRA. The good news is you have a solution for your project and others can use this patch if they experience similar issues.
