I ran into that bug previously and fixed it. However has nothing to do with the running full source problem as I am still getting the same error. I also tried with maven 2.0.9 with identical results. I don't know about firewall issues but I didn't have a problem runnign appfuse:full-source with 2.0.1 and my box settings are the same now.
