The reason the tutorials don't mention associations is that they are not 
currently supported in appfuse:gen.  There are 2 trains of thought here.  What 
it boils down to is no one has developed an appropriate generic view for 
parent/child object relationships for Matt or someone to modify the appfuse:gen 
templates.

If you devise a layout that you feel is a good general starting point for any 
parent/child relationship, please open a JIRA ticket (actually there may be an 
existing one) and attach a patch file and screenshots.
