Okay, sorry to bother you, now that I understand my problem is rooted in Windows Vista. I'm running AppFuse on GlassFish on Windows Vista, and the Windows Explorer search function does not find everything its should, even when I use advanced options and tell it to search everything.
So, I found online that the file you guys are referring to, src/main/resources/ApplicationResources.properties, is actually in the web directory, not in the top-level directory, at least in the mutli-module version of the project that I am running. I found it there and I can customize. I'm a happy hacker again.
