Running maven is fun, but having to set the environment variables over and over is not. For some reason when I set the variables and close the terminal, the changes get lost. I am using commands in the likes of: export M2_HOME=/usr/local/apache-maven/apache-maven-2.2.1. On mac os x 10.4 tiger.
