Maybe a corrupted download? For me, the apache-archiva-1.2.2-bin.zip matches the .asc signature here: http://archive.apache.org/dist/archiva/binaries/ (Archiva 1.3 is out, you might want to upgrade. :) http://archiva.apache.org/download.html ) -- Wendy
