Brett, That totally worked! I just checked the box next to "repository-purge" under "Repository Scanning - Consumers of Known Content". I never even scrolled all the way down there on the 'Repository Scanning' tab - that was kinda hidden! And you're right, I had to restart Archiva before it started deleting.
