As many of you know ArgoUML is participating in the Google Summer of Code this year. The deadline for applications is Monday, May, at midnight GMT (technically 1700 PDT [GMT+8]). We already have a number of strong applications, but encourage any students with ideas for projects to improve/extend ArgoUML to apply.
It's a competitive process, so that best applications win. It's a great opportunity to gain experience, exposure, and even some money. Accepted applications received the focused mentorship of a core ArgoUML developer for the summer. Successfully completed projects earn the student $4500 paid for by Google. If you're not a student, but know a student who would be interested and qualified, please pass this information along.
