Hi,
Double-clicking on the attribute or operation compartment causes an edit-box
to appear.
Here you can enter a complete signature for the attribute/operation, with
parameters, stereotypes, types, initial value, etc.
However, be sure to select UML notation, otherwise it won't work!

is there an easier way to add attributes/methods to a class?
the faq contains this entry:

A- Click direct class properties pane and start typing.
i tried clicking and typing on a class in a diagram, and was only able to
edit the class name this way.
i tried clicking on the "Attributes:" box in the class properties pane and
couldn't enter anything.
