Hi Fulvio,
Yes, known problem... will be solved in the next stable release.
See:
http://argouml.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=4833
In short, this is what you need with the current ArgoUML version:
The workaround:
Never uncheck the "Preload Common Classes" item!
If you have done this anyhow, find the file "argo.user.properties" in the
user's home
directory (On Windows that is one dir up from the "My Documents". For me it
is
"c:\Documents and Settings\Michiel\").
See that you do not have ArgoUML running at this time.
Edit the file "argo.user.properties" with a text-editor like notepad.
Somewhere in this file, there is a line: "argo.init.preload=false".
Modify this to say: "argo.init.preload=true", and save.ยป
Alternatively, you can just delete your "argo.user.properties" file, but
then you loose all your settings.
Regards,
Michiel

Subject: [argouml-users] Preferences dialog doesn't appear
Hi all,
I'm a new user of ArgoUML that have a problem. The Preferences Dialog
doesn't appear when I click On Edit->Preferences... (I hope is so, my
language is italian). I try both the Java Web Start installation and
archived one. The result is the same. I can resolve this?
Thanks a lot,
Fulvio
