hi, all:

Unfortunately, although i am sure visibility of 'public' or 'private' is
checked from properties tab, there is still nothing from the diagram -- it
remains 'courseID : int', just like:

I think perhaps i need to change the default configuration? Any one could
help?
Thanks a lot!

Best,

Hi ye,

yes you do need to configure ArgoUML to show visibility - by default it is off in UML notation.

Menu "Edit" / "Settings", Tab "Notations" and there check "Show visibility". This configures the application default to show the visibility of the model elements (e.g., attributes and operations). In the user's manual : http://argouml-stats.tigris.org/documentation/manual-0.24/ch10s04.html#s2.ref.menu_settings

If you want to configure on a project basis use the menu "File" / "Properties", then tab "Notations" and the same check or no check. Likewise: http://argouml-stats.tigris.org/documentation/manual-0.24/ch10s03.html#s2.ref.menu_properties

Regards and have a good journey with Argo :-)

Luis

PS: remember the FAQ (http://argouml.tigris.org/faqs/users.html#xmx) - increase your JVM memory when working with large models ;-)
