Dear Thor,
I have been using ArgoUML on Ubuntu for a couple of years and what I
found is that if you have the GNU Java Interpreter a lot of problems
appear. So I usually remove it and install the Java from Sun.
Kind Regards,
Diego

Has anyone sucessfully run ArgoUML 0.24 on Ubuntu 7.10 (with java
version 1.5.0)?
When I run
java -jar argouml.jar
nothing happens; no process start -- nothing.
I can run ArgoUML under windows XP with no problem, but I'd like to
run it under Ubuntu.
I have a new Ubuntu installation, and I have extracted the ArgoUML zip
file into ~/Applications/ArgoUML/
I am able to run the java HelloWorld program with no problem, and java
-version says 1.5.0 is installed, so I don't think it's a java problem.
I've tried placing all the ArgoUML jar files in CLASSPATH.
And I've tried
java -classpath argouml.jar org.argouml.application.Main
but nothing seems to work.
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
