Hello Daniel,
we have the simple profiles in the repository in XMI which might be good
for getting you started:
http://argouml.tigris.org/source/browse/*checkout*/argouml/trunk/src_new/org/argouml/profile/profiles/default-uml14.xmi?rev=14003
http://argouml.tigris.org/source/browse/*checkout*/argouml/trunk/src_new/org/argouml/profile/profiles/default-java.xmi?rev=14003
http://argouml.tigris.org/source/browse/*checkout*/argouml/trunk/src_new/org/argouml/profile/profiles/andromda-profile-31.xmi?rev=14003
http://argouml.tigris.org/source/browse/*checkout*/argouml/trunk/src_new/org/argouml/profile/profiles/andromda-profile-32-noextensions.xmi?rev=14003
http://argouml.tigris.org/source/browse/*checkout*/argouml/trunk/src_new/org/argouml/profile/profiles/default-uml14-uml20-subset.xmi?rev=14003
http://argouml-cpp.tigris.org/source/browse/*checkout*/argouml-cpp/trunk/src/org/argouml/language/cpp/profile/CppUmlProfile.xmi?rev=155
There is also the C++ module model that I use to brainstorm and
communicate - note that this is not XMI, but, in zargo format - and it
will be more of a real world example:
http://argouml-cpp.tigris.org/source/browse/*checkout*/argouml-cpp/trunk/doc/ArgoUML.zargo?rev=81
Hope it helps and good luck,
Luis

Hello, everybody. I've searched through the mailing lists, and found
some other people asking for model samples in order to learn how to
use argoUML. I am having a similar problem: I also need to find
models, but not for learning. I am currently developing a model search
engine (similar to http://www.google.com/codesearch,
http://www.krugle.org/, http://www.koders.com/, but for models) as
part of my PhD research at George Mason University.
However, we need to evaluate it first, and for that we need models.
Any XMI model or UML profile can be useful (argo, rational, etc),
since the search engine can be configured to work with different
metamodels. So, if you would like to contribute, and you have models
that you can share, please send them to me (dlucredio - gmail). The
idea is that in the future we will make it available for everyone to
upload their models so that they can be searched as well. We think
this might be helpful for teachers/students interested in finding
model samples.

Thank you all
