It's sometimes instructive to consult later versions of the UML specification to see if things have been clarified or changed. Even if they didn't change the syntax of something, the explanatory text is sometimes improved. Other times, you'll find that incompletely specified items or things which were really just placeholders have been deleted in later versions of the spec. That's the case here and 'location' is gone in UML 2.x. Instead of using it, I'd consider using a Comment/Note since that's what it'll get converted to during the UML 1.4->2.x migration.
