I've created an issue to track this here - http://argouml.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=6307
I think I have found the problem The code is looking for icons like "deepHistory.gif" and "initial.gif" What we actually have are icons "DeepHistory.gif" and "Initial.gif" When running from within eclipse on windows this works fine with the operating systems rpesumably compensating for the incorrect case. Look out for the next release of ArgoUML to fix this.
