Are you sure the move succeeded? Can you try the latest version? How did you move?
You can check the data print of your messages.. when you add messages, and do the following command, you will see what's left in the journals... ./artemis data print --output data.log The journal is a binary logger, it adds / deletes.. and you will see what survived the operations: For a send I performed with ./artemis producer --message-count=10 --commit-interval=1 you will have an output like this (on the end of this post) on Surviving records (from ./artemis data print) you will have one send and one AddRef For when you AckMessages, you will have AckRecords. it could be that you're holding a transaction and when you restarted the broker the transaction was rolled back. Or you hit some bugs we fixed in management.
