New to Fortress

Hi,
I would like to get a bin version of fortress if it's available.

i downloaded the source code but i'm getting trouble when trying to build
the excalibur project.

compile:
    [javac] Compiling 14 source files to C:\CVS\EXCALIB\configuration\build\
    [javac] C:\CVS\EXCALIB\configuration\src\java\org\apache\excalibur\confi
    [javac] symbol  : class Configuration
    [javac] location: package configuration
