Can I use cornerstone components such as connection in fortress ? My
question is rising from several angles one of them is the dependency
definition (or lack off) such as the @avalon.dependency tag !
Yes. You can. Fortress now has an ANT task to generate the meta info including the @avalon.dependency tags for consumption in Fortress.
That is the short answer.
The longer one is that the avalon.dependency tag is currently used to identify any circular dependencies and correctly order the creation of components--however it does not throw an exception if a required component is not in the system.
