In addition to Steve's reply, if you can't wait, you may take a look at how to create Merlin extensions. I think that is also in the "to be cemented" category. The upside is that it may fit you better than the more generic blocklisteners, as I think it will be possible to monitor more internals as an extension as you could as a block listener in Phoenix.
