Ok, here's what was going on. I downloaded Fortress binaries and tried to run and build and run the examples. But ant keeps on crashing. Cause the paths in properties file seem outdated. And its not mavenized yet, so won't find the dependency jars for me. And I have to bring and run all the examples in the IDE which requires all the jars in the classpath.
So I had to search all over the places and open the jars with winzip and then see what packages my IDE is crying for. And my maven local repository has like 50 diff jars in it. If there is any better way then pls advice, I would like to know that.
