Hello.
Timothy Bennett's simple webserver merlin example (built using cornerstone components) is now in CVS under avalon/merlin/platform/simple-web. It currently requires JDK 1.4, but is a great example of how easy it is to put together a Merlin application using existing Avalon components.

np... hope it helps some folks... I'll be updating the avalon-merlin tutorial site some time later this coming week, and that will improve the tutorial even more.
also... in a month or so (when I get some free time in my schedule), look for Part deux of this tutorial in which I will attempt to write a scalable web server using Doug Lea's concurrency utilities and NIO multiplexed channels.
