I think the following would compile; Checkout excalibur; cvs -q -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/cvspublic co avalon-excalibur cd avalon-excalibur maven multiproject:install That will build a lot of stuff, and download a lot of stuff, which all in all will probably take a long while... And on my system, I have a JVM crash in the logger-tests project, but that happens way later than the Jars you are trying to build... I was using Maven RC2 for this check... Unfortunately, I can't fix any problems in the CVS anymore. It is blocked, and the content has moved to be under Subversion control instead.
