Maven was made because Jason van Zyl wanted project models and automatic repository downloads, which Ant didn't have. Magic did exactly the same, but using Ant instead. They are most probably old, and you shouldn't see any downloads, other than 3rd party. And here is the biggie; Merlin Arguments: target/deliverables/blocks/avalon-http-test.block what test is this?? If you want to try, do so with demo or server in blocks directory. For instance; merlin -debug blocks/demo/target/deliverables/blocks/avalon-http-demo-SNAPSHOT.block -config blocks/demo/etc/config.xml standing in planet/facilities/http That should give you a HelloServlet on "http://localhost:8080/hello";, and 'static directory browsing' for any other path...
