I guess, you can (as I know the Mozilla folks - there are prefs for 
everything :) ). try starting "Mozilla.exe -help" in a console window, 
and dig through the default prefs (<instdir>/defaults/prefs) - they are 
a huge base for tweaking info. Posts the results here if you find 
something interesting.

It does store its size for me (But I'm using Linux).

Storing max/min: Implemented, pending checkin. Contacted developer to 
speed things up.

Yes, bad bug, known. Architectural problem, because this is a new type 
of cache. (You can't use the memcache, because it won't store posts, I 
think, and page athors can also prevent normal caching. You can't use 
the source of the shown page, because that might be altered via JS.) 
Will probably be fixed for 1.0.
