Okay: As far as i am concerned, everything works fine. Beonex did not
set itself as standard-browser and did not set the file-associaions by
itself. (I clicked in the middle of the mysterious question at the
beginning, so Beonex did no changes to my system)

Regarding the file-associations and standard-browser: using IE4:
ansicht-optionen-programme-'auf IE als standard-browser pruefen'
There must be something like that under IE5, too. And it is likely, that
this option toggles the file-associations to IE, too. If not, you can
easily turn them on by hand, editing the file-types...
