I'm all new to Boenex. I would like to give it a test and wonder if
you can help me.
I tried to import my addressbook from my netscape (ver. 4.72), put my
finger on the "Import addressbook" option, but failed to perform the
import. I failed to find an extension identical to the one used by
netscape.
2. I created an addressee in my addressbook, but when I type the
beginning of the name, I got nowhere. Doesn't Boenex complete names?
3. I tried to run an rvp file on Boenex, and failed. An rvp file is a
data file for the Catchup service (www.updates.com ). This extension was
not recognized and I added a MIME definition using
Edit=>Preferences=>Helper Applications. The definition exists, but it
isn't honored. Why? I tried it both by establishing a connection with
the former link and by calling an rvp file directly to the program. What
did I do wrong?
I'll stop here, but more questions will most probably arise.
