To do that go Tools|Password Manager|Manage > Stroed Passwords, select the imap:// or pop:// entry for that server and > hit Remove. Then try to get mail again as normal. But see my other email, it didn't work because somehow the mail client did not ask for the passwords even though they were not shown in Password Manager. Then I restarted the PC and it worked for a while. Right now, this very minute, the mail password entries are NOT shown in Password Manager and I know that I did NOT delete them. It seems to store them for a while and lose them. It is not acceptable to expect people to keep re-entering passwords - I have 6 mail accounts and don't want the hassle. I'm only reporting what happened to me. I cannot afford to experiment and keep going round these problems so am not using mailnews for now, I just don't regard it as fully functional - here are some reasons, not in order of importance, and I don't have time to go back and remind myself of any others: -no EASY single click 'send/receive all' -lack of global filter setup for all accounts as mentioned in Michael P's email today -inadequate help -the problem with the passwords -inability to put all incoming email (from all accounts) in one inbox without a processing rule, and then to see account in columns (ie does not have ability to customise the columns in the view pane). -does search only work on the specified account ? I want to search for message content in all messages across all accounts, not just one account. -probably a few other things, I forget, but the above were enough for me. The beonex browser is fine, I use it all the time, but I am definitely staying away from mailnews for this release, sorry I just don't have the time to keep testing it.
