I recently switched from SuSE Linux 7.2 to Mandrake Linux 8.2.
Beonex Communicator v0.8 works still fine but PNG pictures do not display anymore.
Link errors against libpng occur:
./beonex-comm

Libpng itself is installed but it is a newer version that does not seem to be detected
or used by Beonex:
$ ls -lap /usr/lib/libpng*

Is there a workaround perhaps by compiling an old version of libpng?
