I am running Communicator 0.8.1 Stable, and I have it set to check for software updates daily. Every day after Communicator checks for software updates it loads a webpage with this messege on it:
"The Mozilla 1.0.1 released fixed and disclosed a lot of security bugs, some of them severe. Beonex Communicator 0.8.1 is based on Mozilla 1.0.1 and thus contains these fixes. We strongly recommend you to update Communicator." I have tried updating Communicator on several different days but the day after I install Communicator when Communicator checks for software updates I get the same security alert saying to update to Beonex Communicator 0.8.1. Since I have Beonex Communicator 0.8.1 already installed do I need to download and install Beonex Communicator again or are these security alerts redundant and should I ignore them? I have a slow dial-up modem and it takes forever to download Beonex Communicator on it. I really appreciate your advice. Thanks in advance. ----------------------------------------------------- Protect yourself from spam, use http://sneakemail.com
