Thanks, this issue is now solved. We are using in-house canned queries
for federation to a different mart which it turns out they had updated
their mart and renamed their datasets, sadly the log files weren't
showing any clues to this effect.

Having had a look into the code, it seems that the dataset cannot be
fetched anymore.
Can you please verify whether your BioMart database/tables or
configuration might have changed? Seeing that you are working on a shared
system, someone else might have changed something without your knowledge.
If you are editing configuration files in your home directory on one
machine, but execute the server on a different machine, you should keep in
mind that the NAS might not immediately propagate the filesystem changes
instantly (depending on how the NAS is mounted).
