Hi Conrad,

We did closely look into implementing support for this. It's proved to be a 
rather more complicated task and we realized that there is no much gain to have 
biomart control the proxy, as a result we decided not to do it in biomart. You 
will need to set it up at the operation system level.

I see from a thread in February that you were working on support in
Biomart for install behind an outgoing http/s proxy, and rc6 was
mentioned as target. Is this actually in rc6? And if so, where does one
set the configuration for proxy host/port values? This would be a very
useful feature for us.
