Hi Sara, The installation of BioMart 0.7 is considerably more difficult than that of BioMart 0.8. We do not have any more documentation on 0.7 install except on what is under the docs (http://www.biomart.org/install.html). I'd start from quick install and support yourself with a full documentation.
However, what i would encourage you to do is to try to install rc6 0.8 instead. This is far simpler and better supported right now.
