Hello Andy! I added a unit test for camel-csv which uses a pipe by marshaling the object. You will find the test [here| http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/camel/trunk/components/camel-csv/src/test/java/org/apache/camel/dataformat]./csv/CsvMarshalPipeDelimiterTest.java?view=markup I will also add an unit test for the XML DSL, but currently I have some problems with it. After that, I will review the wiki and may be I will update it.
