Hi Martin Thanks - yes, that's what we are thinking of doing as a workaround slightly easier than a code change. I'll give it a go and see if it does as expected. I guess it depends whether Camel goes back to the factory for each message or whether the bean is cached somewhere. Conversely, I believe the introspection is a bit slow, so if using prototype beans causes Camel to redo it for every message, that might not be acceptable for our purposes. I'll take a look.
