XMPP (Jabber) HTTPS SSL SFTP Secure MQ But most probably I would prefer to use HTTPS. The thing is that the digi device is connected to the computer on board truck via a serial port so all the communication reaching at digi device will need to be converted to serial streams. Not sure if this will need to be handeled or Digi device will take care of it. Jesus is suggesting to look at the MINA and netty component in Camel for low level TCP/IP communication.
