Maybe the test frame work eat up the exception. Please feel free to create a JIRA[1] for it.

Thanks Willem, I was not including camel-http dependency. What sounds wrong is that Camel did not fail stating missing dependencies or classes. JUnit is just silently ignoring the annotated @Test.
