Saving it on the headers, files or database is probably the easiest way. However, I know that when using exeception handlers you have the option to get the original message: http://camel.apache.org/exception-clause.html#ExceptionClause-UsinguseOriginalMessage So I asume the original message is already stored somewhere, but I don't know where, or if it is possible to access it in a normal route. So you might have to dig into the sourcecode to find it. Or perhaps one of the devs can shed some light on this.
