Hi, Thanks your response but the exception listener will be used in an async mode.
Finally found a solution by changing an activemq property: http://tmielke.blogspot.fr/2011/11/loosing-messages-despite-of-sending.html With this i can keep my inOut in camel and get the error when producer failed to push the message.
