Issue with LocalDate Data Type Conversion in Causeway Backend

Hello, I'm trying to make a request to a method in the backend created with
Causeway. When I send a LocalDate data type in the request body with the
correct format, it tells me that it cannot convert it into a valid data
type. I don't have the code available right now, so I can't provide the
exact error messages. I would like to know what I should send or how to
handle this situation.
