When I looked at the SSVM in XenCenter, the guest_public IP in Vswitch network was not attached to the guest_public network I had configured in XenServer. Its funny because the management and the storage networks were connected correctly. Oh well..... When I made this correction, everything took off, and the ssvm-check.sh ran without errors. Within a few minutes, my secondary storage was online, and I was downloading templates.
