Hopefully 4.2 will support resizing of root disks via GUI.
I'll do it the old fashioned way now. :-)

For a Data Volume you need to detach it from the VM, then you can simply choose 
a new Disk Offering, including Custom to resize the volume, then re-attach it 
to the VM

Unfortunately you cannot resize Root Volumes just yet

before upgrading to 4.1 (from 3.0.2) i was resizing root volumes using 
XenCenter and updating the correct entry in the cloud db.
I vaguely remember, that 4.1 should support resizing of root volumes.
Maybe it's only supported via API call? Am i mistaken?
How can one do it with GUI?
