Hector, The API you need is the updateVirtualMachine API for release 4.2 or 4.3 (this is a 4.2 feature so will not be in the 4.0 API docs) http://cloudstack.apache.org/docs/api/apidocs-4.3/root_admin/updateVirtualMachine.html
