I've got a KVM host in a test set up, where the host is on 10.4.0.x, the
private addresses are on 10.4.1.x and the public addresses are 10.4.2.x
- I really want the latter two to be the same as I just want guests to
have a single IP on the main network, but that's a side point for now.
The issue I'm having is that when I start a guest, it can access things
on the physical network, but things on the physical network can't access
the guest on either of it's IPs - I would expect it to be able to do so
on the public IP (10.4.2.5 in this case)? I can access the system VMs on
their public IPs (hosted on the same host), so I don't *think* it's a
config issue on the host.
Not sure where this is going wrong, but I'm trying to get this running
in a test set up with a view to deploying in a month or so if all goes
well, so if anyone can help fix it that'd be great!
