If so, that is not a mention to the KVM host base OS. That version is regarding the management server (MS), the server in which you install the Apache CloudStack application. You have to keep in mind here that we have operating systems (OSs) that are used by hosts (server in which VMs are executed) and the OS that is executed by the MS server itself. And you can also have other OSs for database systems for the CloudStack MS application, file systems and so forth. Did this explanation clarify your doubt? Or at least, helped a little bit?
