I looked at the HyperV support about a year ago  - its not great. It was 
written 8+ years ago in .Net and hasn't been maintained since. Summary is, 
think it would need a major refactor to support 2019 (or even 2012 in a serious 
production environment)

I'd be happy to collaborate on any work you do and share learnings so far, but 
I AFAICS, it is a significant piece of work

Thanks for the quick reply, is it possible to share a few more details about 
the plugin and C# code that we are talking about to be modified to support 
Hyper-V 2019?

This would really help us evaluate if we should downgrade the servers to
2012 for Hyper-V.
