Hi Adrian, CloudStack will not allow you to remove storage if there are still volumes/images referencing it (volumes that are not destroyed, in case of Primary Storage, or Snapshots/templates/Isos/UploadedVolumes in case of Secondary Storage)
You would need to check the DB - there is at least one reference in your case. Something like like SELECT * from cloud.volumes where pool_id=<YOUR POOL ID FROM the STORAGE_POOL table> and state="READY" or "ALLOCATED" (you can also experiment with and REMOVED IS NULL condition) there also might be a case where (for whatever reason...) some snapshots are referencing Primary Storage - check with SELECT * from cloud.snapshot_store_ref where store_role="Primary" Best, On Wed, 3 Feb 2021 at 09:17, Adrian Morris < [email protected]> wrote: > Hi Everyone, > > > > I have some old primary storage I what to decommission.
