Yes, it's not possible to take VM snapshot with Ceph as primary storage. There is an alternative included in 4.17 (still not released) for those storage drivers that are using the raw format - KVM VM snapshots improvement <https://github.com/apache/cloudstack/issues/5836> Best regards, Slavka
